“A breath of fresh air on the current Blues scene” Blues and Soul magazine.
Now nominated for the British Blues Awards Best Emerging Artist 2016 The Rainbreakers are another of our artists starting to attract national attention.
Liverpool Sound and Vision describe them as “Loud and attention grabbing… fusing genres into the wild seemingly abandoned… not only endearing, it is verging on the magnificent.”
The lads contemporary twist on blues rock is getting them some serious support slots too with the likes of Laurence Jones and Chantel McGregor as well as regular slots at Londons infamous 100 Club.
Formed in 2012 The Rainbreakers are a four piece Blues rock outfit whose sound is raw and hard-hitting. Their influences are wide and varied from Free and Hendrix in the 60’s and 70’s right up to more contemporary peers such as The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr and Monophonics.
To promote the release of their latest EP ‘Blood Not Brass’, The Rainbreakers supported the aforementioned Laurence Jones and Chantel McGregor on their 2015 UK Tours. This summer The Rainbreakers will also be gracing festival stages around the country.
Expect to be impressed.
